USPA Global has announced the acquisition of Aydinli Hazir Giyim San. Tic. A.S. by HRK Holding A.S. (Saat & Saat). Both companies are long-standing licensing partners of U.S. Polo Assn., the official brand of the United States Polo Association.

As a result, the acquisition significantly strengthens U.S. Polo Assn.’s footprint across Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and North Africa, providing access to more than 50 countries.

Strategic Expansion into Global Apparel

With this acquisition, Saat & Saat expands beyond its successful watch business and enters the global apparel sector. Meanwhile, Aydinli brings a strong regional retail network and deep market expertise.

Currently, U.S. Polo Assn. operates nearly 450 branded stores and multiple digital platforms across the region. In addition, Aydinli’s established presence across monobrand stores, department stores, and e-commerce channels enhances scale and reach.

Strengthening a Long-Standing Partnership

Importantly, the partnership between Aydinli and U.S. Polo Assn. dates back to 1997. Over nearly three decades, the collaboration has driven steady growth across the region.

More recently, Aydinli completed Istanbul’s flagship Istinye Park U.S. Polo Assn. store in 2024. Furthermore, the brand has launched nearly a dozen region-specific websites to strengthen digital engagement and customer access.

Leadership and Market Outlook

Commenting on the acquisition, J. Michael Prince, President and CEO of USPA Global, congratulated Ramazan Kaya, Founder and CEO of Saat & Saat. He noted that the strategic transition positions the brand to target USD 1 billion in regional retail sales in the coming years. He also acknowledged the leadership of Şeref Safa, former Chairman of Aydinli, and thanked TMSF for its continued support.

Following the completion of the transaction, Ramazan Kaya will assume the role of CEO of Aydinli Group. According to Kaya, the acquisition allows Saat & Saat to accelerate growth, strengthen capabilities, and prepare for the next phase of expansion across dynamic retail markets.

Regional and Global Growth Momentum

Today, U.S. Polo Assn. operates more than 1,500 points of sale across over 50 countries in Turkey, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, and North Africa. Therefore, the region remains one of the brand’s most important global markets.

Globally, U.S. Polo Assn. is present in 190 countries and generates over USD 2.5 billion in annual retail sales. Consequently, expectations remain strong that the brand will reach USD 1 billion in regional retail sales in the coming years.
