Sustainable fine jewellery brand Aupulent has launched Astro, a groundbreaking lab-grown diamond collection crafted specifically for astrological and spiritual purposes. With this, Aupulent becomes the first Indian fine jewellery brand to offer lab-grown diamonds for Vedic astrology use.

Astro is a unisex range that aligns traditional astrological wisdom with modern innovation. For centuries, diamonds have held deep astrological importance, especially for those influenced by Venus (Shukra). However, traditionally mined diamonds come with high costs and environmental concerns.

“Lab-grown diamonds are chemically and energetically identical to mined ones. It’s time to bring sustainability into spiritual spaces,” says Surya Jain, Founder & CEO of Aupulent. A fifth-generation jeweller and wellness advocate, Jain emphasizes that Astro merges generational gemstone wisdom with science-backed craftsmanship.

The launch also reflects the rise of astrology among Indian millennials and Gen Z. A 2024 study by NumroVani found that over 50% of young Indians consult astrology daily.

Crafted using advanced CVD (Chemical Vapour Deposition) technology, each diamond in the Astro line is:

  • Tested for energetic purity

  • Set in astrologically correct designs

  • Available with optional astrology consultations

  • Certified by third-party labs

The collection uses gold or platinum and is designed for everyday comfort while ensuring skin contact with the diamond—vital in Vedic gemstone practice.

According to Vedic astrology, diamonds benefit those with Taurus or Libra ascendants, or a well-placed Venus, enhancing charm, emotional stability, and creative energy.

“With Astro, jewellery becomes more than adornment—it becomes intentional,” Jain adds. Astro bridges science, sustainability, and spirituality, giving modern consumers a meaningful and mindful jewellery experience.
