Wooden Street Debuts Tech Mattress Brand Penguin Sleep

Furniture and home décor giant Wooden Street has introduced its new in-house mattress brand, Penguin Sleep, aimed at redefining sleep comfort with cutting-edge sleep technology. The launch marks the company’s strategic expansion into the sleep solutions market.

At the core of Penguin Sleep’s offerings is Ergowave™ Technology, which ensures adaptive support and optimal spinal alignment, promoting a more restful and personalized sleep experience. The range includes three unique mattress models—Dream Lux, Bamboo Bliss, and Ortho Zen—each tailored to different user needs and preferences.

“Our mattress vertical aligns with our core furniture business. With our 100+ stores and large customer base, we aim to capture a significant share of this segment, targeting ₹200 crore in revenue over the next 24 to 36 months,” said Lokendra Ranawat, CEO of Wooden Street.

Penguin Sleep also plans to introduce a full range of sleep accessories—pillows, comforters, mattress protectors, and more. These products will be available in Wooden Street’s 100+ experience stores and across major online platforms, ensuring wide accessibility.

To launch the brand, Wooden Street unveiled the “More than a Mattress, it’s a HUG” campaign—a bold, AI-powered digital storytelling effort that struck a chord with online audiences. With the tagline “Sleep Smart, Live Better,” the campaign drove high engagement and brand visibility across social media.
