The line is part of the designer’s first Artist in Residence collaboration with the seventh-generation Diné (Navajo) weaver.

Ralph Lauren and Naiomi Glasses got a head start on Santa Fe Indian Market Thursday night, honoring the latest installment of their Artist in Residence cooperation with a meet-and-greet with the Diné (Navajo) weaver at Malouf’s store on the Plaza.
More than 100 Southwestern-chic fashion aficionados came to see and shop the “Denim Daydream” collection, which was also released on the Ralph Lauren website on Thursday.
Glasses’ line for men and women draws inspiration from rodeo culture and the Navajo lifestyle. The collection has denim and indigo-heeled styles that are also reminiscent of Ralph Lauren.

A silk western shirt with pearl snaps, calico broomstick skirt and matching shirt, suede “trophy” jacket, and blanket coat pay homage to the trademark costume of Navajo rodeo contestants, the color of Dinétah (Navajo Nation) skies, and Glasses’ ranching background in Arizona. There is also an embroidered clog, embroidered jeans, a baseball cap, and a fringed saddle blanket. Prices range between $168 and $298.
