ASOS, popular among fashion-forward Millennials, has released a unique clothing line in collaboration with four LGBTQIA artists to mark Pride. The collection includes t-shirts, hoodies, and socks for all genders to wear during Pride events and beyond. The designs are vibrant and bold, representing various queer experiences and aesthetics. The aim is to showcase queer talents and amplify marginalized voices.
The artists involved in the project are Ashton Attzs, Erik Carnell, Theodoor Grimes, and Tommy Burley. Ashton Attzs is a UK-based illustrator and painter known for colourful and vibrant artwork. Erik Carnell is a gay trans man who uses pastel colours to create art. Theodoor Grimes is a Black non-binary digital artist inspired by graphic novels and manga. Tommy Burley is a trans tattoo artist known for traditional fine-line realism with a queer twist. Together, they celebrate everyday life and the queer experience through their art.
Vanessa Spence, Executive Vice President of Creative at ASOS, announced the launch of a Pride collaboration celebrating diversity, self-expression, and queer joy. The collection, created in collaboration with LGBTQIA artists, aims to give customers the confidence to be themselves. All profits will benefit Just Like Us, an LGBT young people’s charity working to create inclusive environments for LGBTQIA youth.
