Princess Gauravi Kumari has been named as Jimmy Choo’s new brand ambassador.

The young queen has recently established herself as a mainstay in the fashion world after launching many initiatives in association with leading designers. Gauravi Kumari’s selection as the worldwide ambassador for Jimmy Choo may not come as a surprise given the number of fashion-related initiatives she has worked on in the last year.

Gauravi’s entry into the fashion industry began with the growth of her own little company, which in a few years led to several projects, magazine covers, and hosting the greatest fashion events at her house. “While studying in New York, I was exposed to a diverse range of cultures, styles, artwork, and eye-catching fashion, which is how I first fell in love with fashion.” My curiosity in this universe was initially piqued by that, the woman claims.

The young fashionista is in charge of her brand, the PDKF shop, which provides funding for her mother’s business, the Princess Diya Kumari Foundation (PDKF). In India’s expanding fashion scene, the company has made a name for itself by emphasizing sustainability and recycling deadstock materials. “The PDKF Store’s launch catalyzed all of the partnerships, which developed quite naturally.”

The royal family has already collaborated with a global company. Gauravi Kumari has seen a few Dior performances, including the Mumbai show. She collaborated with Ralph Lauren on a silent auction and gala dinner at her Jaipur home, the City Palace, last year to raise money for her mother’s charity, the PDKF. Together with designer Anita Dongre, the princess organized a fashion show called “Rewild 23” at the City Palace in December 2023 to collect money for elephant and environmental conservation. The Nature Conservation Foundation would get all of the exhibition’s earnings.

The little princess, along with celebrities like Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Aditi Rao Hydari, Shilpa Shetty, and others, attended the Bulgari Gala dinner earlier this year at the Ambani House in Mumbai. Gauravi also became a major attraction for the renowned jewelry brand Cartier, who supported her star power for magazine covers and asked her to explore their opulent realm for events all over the world.

With this new endeavor, Gauravi signals a change in the ways that premium businesses view potential influencers and movers in the fashion industry. “I am deeply honored to collaborate with Jimmy Choo, a renowned fashion house.” According to Gauravi, “They are renowned for their unwavering dedication to exceptional craftsmanship and design and have been a force to be reckoned with in the fashion world.”
