Zinara Raises $380K in Pre-Seed Round Led by IPV
Lab-grown diamond jewellery brand Zinara has raised ₹3.61 crore (approximately US$380,000) in a pre-seed funding round led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV).
The round also saw participation from Nine Jewellery, Bollywood actress Nikita Dutta and other angel investors. The company will use the funds to build its team, accelerate marketing and strengthen its supply-chain infrastructure.
Zinara Focuses on Everyday Diamond Jewellery
Founded by IIT Delhi alumni Harshit Abrol, Co-founder and CEO, and Sumanyu Vyas, Co-founder and COO, Zinara aims to move diamond jewellery beyond special occasions.
The brand offers contemporary designs made with 18K gold vermeil and lab-grown diamonds. Its jewellery is positioned at accessible price points for modern Indian consumers.
Zinara has built a portfolio of more than 400 designs. Its digital-first model allows the brand to serve customers across India.
The brand also offers a lifetime warranty, buyback and exchange options. These services aim to make first-time diamond purchases more accessible to consumers.
Zinara has crossed ₹1 crore in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
IPV Backs Zinara’s Growth Plans
Vinay Bansal, Co-founder, IPV, says, “Zinara is operating at the intersection of three shifts which is shaping the future of jewellery consumption in India: the rise of the design-conscious consumer, the growing acceptance of lab-grown diamonds, and the demand for accessible price points. Zinara’s positioning of diamond jewellery as both an everyday essential and a statement of personal style, while keeping it accessible, is what sets the brand apart. We believe Zinara has the potential to build a differentiated jewellery brand at scale, and we are backing the team as it enters its next phase of growth.”
IPV has invested more than ₹900 crore across 280+ startups. The investor also backed 16 startups in Q1 2026 alone.
Founders Bring Experience Across Consumer Businesses
Harshit Abrol previously worked at P&G and Apnaklub. Sumanyu Vyas has previously worked at Blinkit and Classplus.
The founders bring experience in consumer businesses and company building. Their combined background supports Zinara’s focus on design, consumer understanding and growth.
Commenting on the investment, Harshit Abrol, Co-founder & CEO, Zinara, said, “We believe the next chapter of diamond jewellery in India will be about making it part of everyday life, not just reserved for special occasions. At Zinara, we are building a brand around this shift, combining modern design, lab-grown diamonds and accessible price points to create jewellery that people genuinely want to wear every day. Having IPV and Nine Jewellery come on board is a strong validation of this vision, bringing together entrepreneurial expertise and deep manufacturing capabilities. With this partnership, we are excited to build the team, product and brand infrastructure needed to take Zinara to millions of consumers across India.”
India’s Lab-Grown Diamond Market Continues to Grow
Lab-grown diamonds are emerging as a growing segment of the global diamond and jewellery industry. India is also seeing increased interest in the category.
The Indian lab-grown diamond market was estimated at approximately ₹3,452 crore (US$600 million) by FY28, with a CAGR of about 14%.
India is also an important global manufacturing hub for lab-grown diamonds. The country produced more than 3 million lab-grown diamonds in 2023, accounting for over 15% of global output.
With its latest funding, Zinara plans to expand its team and marketing efforts. The brand will also strengthen its supply-chain infrastructure as it works to reach more consumers across India.
