Zimmermann, the renowned Australian fashion label, has inaugurated its second Paris boutique on the prestigious Faubourg St Honoré, adjacent to esteemed luxury brands like Hermès, Chanel, and Saint Laurent.
Situated in an elegant pre-war building opposite the British Embassy, the new store epitomizes the brand’s aspiration to provide a distinct yet locally connected experience for its clientele in Paris. Founder and creative director Nicky Zimmermann expressed enthusiasm about the unique environment that encapsulates the essence of their brand while resonating with the local area.
Occupying a multi-story space previously held by Salvatore Ferragamo and in close proximity to the brand’s European headquarters, the boutique has been meticulously designed in collaboration with Studio McQualter. Nicky highlighted the importance of this expansion, aiming to immerse clients into the world of Zimmermann.
The rapid growth of Zimmermann, originating from a humble swimwear line in Sydney’s Paddington market to Australia’s foremost billion-dollar runway fashion brand, is evident in its latest Paris establishment, spanning over 288 square meters. The brand now boasts around 60 boutiques worldwide, emphasizing warmth and optimism in their retail spaces.
The boutique’s ground floor showcases plaster walls, Palladiana marble flooring, and modernist furnishings, creating an inviting ambiance. The second floor, separated by galvanized metallic and glass doors, features distinctive elements like vintage lacquered Chinese screens and bespoke décor pieces that reflect the brand’s eclectic blend of Southern Hemisphere charm and bohemian elegance.
Featuring collections from Fall ’23 showcased at Paris Fashion Week, along with Resort ’24 and Resort Swim ’24, the store’s design incorporates various art pieces and furnishings, offering clients a unique blend of artful expression and haute bohemian flair synonymous with Zimmermann.
