Zi Launches as a Modern Indian Design House, Redefining Everyday Luxury
Zi, a new Indian design house, has launched with its debut collection of 925 sterling silver jewellery, introducing contemporary, everyday designs to a category traditionally associated with occasions and ceremonies.
Starting at Rs 3,500, the collection marks the first chapter of Zi’s ambition to create a modern jewellery house where luxury is defined by design, material and wearability rather than spectacle.
The brand’s debut collection is built around the idea that jewellery does not need to be reserved for special occasions. Clean forms, considered detailing and versatile silhouettes are designed to become part of an everyday wardrobe, allowing pieces to be worn repeatedly, styled in different ways and carried across settings.
The collection is organised into three edits: Staple Edits, featuring everyday essentials; Forever Favourites, comprising versatile pieces designed for repeat wear; and Evening Elegance, offering a more elevated expression for after-dark and occasion dressing.
Across the three edits, the jewellery is designed to work individually or together, encouraging customers to build a personal jewellery wardrobe rather than purchase pieces around specific occasions.
925 Sterling Silver Forms the Foundation
925 sterling silver forms the foundation of Zi’s debut, selected for its versatility and its role in establishing the brand’s design language. Select designs also incorporate other considered metals and are finished with premium rhodium plating.
The jewellery is nickel- and lead-free, with the brand placing emphasis on material quality, finish and everyday wearability.
Silver, however, represents only the beginning of Zi’s material and design journey. The brand is developing upcoming collections, including The Classics and The Atelier, which will build on the restraint of the debut collection while introducing greater depth and design expression.
Expanding Across Materials
Zi is also developing jewellery across a broader material palette, including titanium fused with gold and lab-grown diamonds.
Each material has been selected for a distinct role, with titanium representing strength and lightness, gold bringing warmth, and lab-grown diamonds offering a contemporary interpretation of an established luxury material.
This broader material approach reflects Zi’s ambition to develop a design house with a considered material philosophy rather than remain defined by a single category or metal.
Beyond jewellery, Zi is exploring future lifestyle categories, with design continuing to anchor the brand’s approach. Its long-term ambition is to evolve across materials, products and categories while maintaining a consistent design point of view.
The debut collection has been available exclusively through Zi’s online platform since 24 August 2026, with prices starting at Rs 3,500.
With its launch, Zi is introducing an everyday approach to luxury jewellery in India, positioning its debut in silver as the starting point for a broader design house that can evolve alongside how modern India wears luxury.
