ET Retail said that the company’s initial phase of offline expansion will focus on Delhi, NCR. Yes, Madam is sure that there will be rapid acceptance at its offline outlets, predicting that brick-and-mortar retail would account for approximately 20% of total revenue by the conclusion of this fiscal year.
“At the moment, we will only focus on Delhi/NCR, and once we have covered Delhi/NCR, we will expand to other parts of India,” Yes Madam’s CEO and co-founder Mayank Arya told the Economic Times. “Whatever limitations we have in the online space, like hair color, nail art, laser treatment, etc., we are going to explore them in the offline space.”
Yes, Madam intends to launch all of its planned outlets as company-owned and operated companies. The company forecasts the capital expenditure required to build a 1,000-square-foot store to be roughly Rs 20 lakh.
Along with developing offline, Yes Madam intends to broaden its internet presence. The company already has an online presence in 56 Indian cities and plans to expand into new markets this year, including Kochi and Kolkata.
