Yarn Expo Spring 2026 concluded successfully on 13 March, welcoming over 25,000 visitors from 113 countries and regions, marking a 7% increase compared to the previous Spring edition. The fair hosted more than 600 exhibitors from 12 countries across 27,000 sqm at the National Exhibition and Convention Center.
The event highlighted the textile industry’s accelerating transition towards sustainability and functionality. Exhibitors presented a diverse range of eco-friendly yarns and fibres, including organic, regenerated, and recycled materials, alongside high-performance innovations such as sweat-resistant and functional fibres.
Speaking at the close, Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, noted that the fair achieved its highest exhibitor participation to date, reflecting strong market confidence and growing demand for responsible textile solutions.

The fair reaffirmed its position as a key sourcing hub in Asia, attracting buyers from major markets including Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Türkiye, the US, and Vietnam. Exhibitors from China, India, Pakistan, and Taiwan showcased a balanced mix of established and emerging suppliers, with a strong emphasis on next-generation and recycled fibres.
Across dedicated zones such as Cashmere Yarn, Cotton Yarn, Chemical Fibre, Fancy Yarn, Linen Yarn, Silk Yarn, and Wool Yarn, the exhibition offered both conventional and specialised materials. Certified products under standards like BCI, GOTS, and GRS were prominently featured, reinforcing the industry’s sustainability shift.
Notable participants included Toray Industries Inc, which introduced its high-function fibres, and Circ Inc, showcasing its textile-to-textile recycling technology. Indian exhibitors highlighted Kasturi Cotton, while NORGIIS GROUP presented premium cotton yarns sourced from multiple regions.
