Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2025 made a strong impact on the South China textile industry, drawing nearly 40,000 visits from 64 countries and regions. Held at a strategically positioned venue in Guangdong’s textile hub, the fair ran alongside Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics, PH Value, and BIRD Fashion Fair, creating a synergistic platform for yarns, fabrics, fashion, and textile technology.
The show showcased a wide range of yarn and fibre innovations—spanning six core categories including cotton, wool, fancy yarns, and sustainable blends like Perino yarn and Lyocell. Exhibitors and visitors praised the event’s mid-year timing, location benefits, and opportunities for both business and innovation exchange.
Organisers highlighted the fair’s ability to close the sourcing gap between Shanghai editions and create meaningful cross-sector conversations on green practices and functional product development. Highlights included the Textile Materials Innovation Forum and displays on China Fibres & Yarns Fashion Trends and Green Fibre Certification.
Exhibitor perspectives from Perino (New Zealand), Jingyi Group, and Flying String Co. emphasized the show’s reach into China’s high-tech regions and its role in promoting sustainable offerings.
Visitors, including sourcing professionals from Uzbekistan, Hong Kong, and China, echoed praise for the show’s accessibility, breadth, and relevance. Many plan to return next year, underlining the fair’s growing value in the textile sourcing calendar.
