With the introduction of the “Baby Plum” range, Plum, a direct-to-consumer beauty and personal care brand, has entered the baby care market. The brand states that the massage oil, baby shampoo, body wash and lotion in the new line have all undergone rigorous testing on children.

Baby-safe components like avocado, shea butter, chamomile, vitamin E, coconut, and sunflower oils are used in the production of all Baby Plum products. Plum has been aggressively diversifying its portfolio, and it anticipates that this launch will accelerate that process by gaining access to India’s rich newborn care sector.

In a statement about the launch, Plum’s CEO and founder Shankar Prasad said, “The launch of Baby Plum marks a defining moment in the evolution of the brand. The dynamic demands of customers looking for reliable high-quality, effective, and vegan goods have moulded Plum’s exciting path in the beauty and personal care space.

“Under paediatric and dermatological supervision, our carefully chosen collection of baby products is meticulously created and tested for a baby’s delicate skin. We adore the result and can’t wait to share it with our customers, he continued.
