Eastman’s Naia™ is back at Première Vision Paris with a new brand appearance.

An redesigned Naia™ from Eastman will make its debut at this year’s Première Vision Paris, showcasing a multitude of options for uncompromising, sustainable style for everyone. The event is set to take place at Paris Nord Villepinte from 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on February 7-9.

The foundation of Naia™’s mission is sustainable style done your way, according to Carolina Sister Cohn, Eastman’s global marketing director for textiles. “Naia™ uses a distinct, sustainable approach to produce cutting-edge, high-quality cellulosic acetate materials, such as filament yarns and staple fibres. They serve nature and are not only of nature. Additionally, they are as varied and adaptive — to everyone everywhere in the world — as they are sustainable.

Naia™ circular materials offer a sustainable option for tops, dresses, T-shirts, sweaters, comfortable slacks, and more thanks to their selection of fibres that don’t sacrifice quality, comfort, or ease of care.

Showgoers may experience firsthand how Naia™ fibres improve more than 250 fashion fabrics in a variety of applications, including ready-to-wear, casual wear, knitwear, and sweaters. The Eastman team will also be on hand to talk about the findings of an extensive survey the company did in January 2023 regarding customers of professional womenswear in the U.S. and Europe. The study offers viewpoints on a number of issues, such as the versatility that women want from business attire, the potential for differentiating apparel performance, and the need for more environmentally friendly materials.

Eastman’s goal with Naia™ is to bring about a future in which using sustainable textiles is the best and most convenient choice. One of the most urgent fashion problems, the development of widespread circularity, has an unique answer in Naia™  Renew. The same high-quality fabrics as traditional Naia™  fibres are produced with Naia™ Renew, which has a reduced carbon footprint of about 35% and is readily available. It is made from 60% wood pulp from sustainably harvested sources and 40% certified* recycled waste materials.

Solvents are recycled back into the manufacturing process for all Naia™™products, resulting in a minimal carbon and water footprint from tree to fibre. The wood used to make Naia™™products is responsibly sourced from sustainably managed pine and eucalyptus forests, with complete traceability from tree to fibre. Additionally TÜV Austria-certified as compostable and biodegradable is Naia™TM.
