Welspun Living’s Q4 net profit increased to Rs 146 crore up 16%

For the fourth quarter that ended on March 31, Indian textile company Welspun Living reported a 16% increase in total net profit to Rs 146 crore ($17.5 million), compared to Rs 125 crore for the same period last year.

Compared to the same quarter last year, when the company’s sales was Rs 2,195 crore, it increased by 19% to Rs 2,617 crore. The company’s net profit for the fiscal year 2024 was Rs 681 crore, with total income of Rs 9,825 crore.

“The company has achieved its highest ever quarterly and yearly revenues in Q4 & FY24, with a massive growth of 19% in the quarter and 20% yearly, with sustainable EBITDA of 15.4% for FY24, growing by 73% over last year,” stated Dipali Goenka, managing director & CEO of Welspun Living Limited, in a statement regarding the results.

“Despite the year’s muted retail market sentiments, our domestic retail business has been resilient. With a presence in more than 600 towns and 20,000+ retailers, the brand “Welspun” solidified its position as the nation’s top earner, posting its highest-ever income in FY24.

Bed sheets, bathroom linens, and curtains are among the home textiles offered by Welspun Living, a prominent player in the textile industry, under its own private labels.
