Wellbi Becomes Zerodha’s Corporate Apparel Partner

Fabric-first apparel brand Wellbi has added Zerodha to its growing portfolio of corporate clients, supplying 1,150 T-shirts for the company’s entire team and further strengthening its position in the corporate apparel segment.

Karthik Rangappa, Chief of Education at Zerodha and an existing Wellbi customer, recommended the brand for the company-wide order. Highlighting the product’s comfort and durability, he said, “A good T-shirt has three basic requirements: it should hold its colour, retain its shape after washing, and fit well. Wellbi T-shirts are highly breathable and feel great.”

Zerodha joins Wellbi’s growing list of corporate apparel clients across technology, financial services, hospitality and other sectors, including Meta, Adobe, Cisco, Amazon and JW Marriott, among others.

Wellbi’s corporate apparel proposition is centred on the belief that company merchandise should function as quality everyday clothing rather than simply branded merchandise. The Mysuru-based brand has developed three proprietary bamboo-cotton blends designed for different applications, with an emphasis on softness, breathability, moisture management and all-day comfort.

Founded in Mysuru in 2021 by Supreeth Kashyap, Wellbi initially grew from his interest in rural development, handlooms and rural artisans. As the team developed a deeper understanding of textiles and consumer requirements, the brand shifted its focus towards improving fabric quality and everyday wearing comfort.

“For us, trust has always started with the product. A company can give an employee a T-shirt once, but we don’t want that T-shirt to remain in the wardrobe after the event is over. If the employee voluntarily reaches for it again, to work, while travelling, at home or over the weekend, that is when we believe we’ve made a good product,” said Supreeth Kashyap, Founder and CEO, Wellbi.

Beyond T-shirts, Wellbi has expanded its product portfolio to include polos, performance wear, innerwear and women’s wear. The brand also operates a direct-to-consumer business through its website and marketplaces including Amazon and Myntra. Across its channels, Wellbi has surpassed ₹1 crore in monthly revenue.

The Zerodha order reinforces Wellbi’s fabric-first approach, with the brand positioning everyday comfort, functionality and wearability as key measures of product success in the corporate apparel market.
