Walmart announced the opening of a page just for sellers from India.

The global retailer Walmart has declared the opening of a special page on its marketplace for Indian sellers to sign up and list their products.

The company launched a series of regional events with a global seller meet on Tuesday in Jaipur. The purpose of the meet was to give potential sellers information on customer and category trends, help with onboarding, and help with catalog development.

Walmart prioritizes the Indian market, and the specialized landing page strengthens our ties to Indian vendors.Michelle Mi, Vice President of Walmart’s Emerging Markets and Business Development, said in the release that the platform aims to “unlock the potential of Indian businesses by giving sellers access to customers around the world.”

“We are equipping sellers with the resources they need to succeed in the US marketplace and beyond through devoted onboarding support and experience in managing global supply chains.”
