Vipshop Unveils ‘Online Outlet’ Pavilion and ‘CIIE on the Cloud’ Experience, Showcasing Premium Global Brands at China International Import Expo

Vipshop Holdings Limited, a prominent online discount retailer in China, unveiled its “Online Outlet” immersive experience pavilion at the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE), coinciding with the release of its Global Buyer Manifesto. The 300-square-meter pavilion in the Consumer Products Zone focuses on themes of exquisite fashion, current trends, quality living, and environmental sustainability, providing attendees with a unique and deeply immersive experience into the brand’s discounted offerings.

Simultaneously, Vipshop introduced the dedicated “CIIE on the Cloud” section within its app, featuring close to 100,000 top-quality items from international brands such as Crocs, Daniel Wellington, DKNY, GANT, Michael Kors, and more. This initiative spans diverse categories like apparel, footwear, bags, sports and leisure, beauty, skincare, home appliances, and health care, aiming to offer users a wide array of premium products at competitive prices.

“To replicate the atmosphere of our physical pavilion for online users, we’ve duplicated its visual design in the digital realm,” explained a Vipshop spokesperson. The “CIIE on the Cloud” within the app aims to present a fresh perspective on quality living, allowing consumers to experience the finest aspects of an international lifestyle from the comfort of their homes.

In conjunction with CIIE, Vipshop introduced the Global Buyer Manifesto, emphasizing the commitment of its purchasing teams to core principles such as sourcing top-quality products, selecting brands meticulously, maintaining strict quality standards, and offering competitive pricing. With over 1,000 professional buyers worldwide, Vipshop’s team plays a key role in elevating the consumer market by carefully curating global brands, staying abreast of industry trends, and fostering strong partnerships with brands to introduce distinctive goods.
