Nestled on a rare 1000-square-yard plot in South City-1, Villa 9 by Oolenna Studio emerges as a sculptural interpretation of neoclassical elegance fused with contemporary restraint. Helmed by Anmol Bawa Guliani, the residence spans four levels and channels a quiet grandeur through spatial storytelling, tactile materials, and custom detailing.
Avoiding ornamental excess, Villa 9 focuses on volumetric clarity—double-height ceilings, expansive fenestration, and seamless transitions evoke a sense of openness. The interior palette, grounded in beiges and greys, uses materiality—CNC-detailed marble, layered moldings, and soft textiles—to bring warmth and depth.
Each floor is carefully curated to offer distinct zones of immersion, from sociable lounges and formal dining areas to serene private suites. Furniture, lighting, and décor have been customized and sourced from Jaipur, Delhi, and global ateliers to reflect a cosmopolitan yet cohesive aesthetic.
Custom lighting—ranging from recessed uplights to ambient glows—adds rhythm and mood across spaces. “It’s a home that’s meant to age with grace,” says Guliani, noting the project’s emphasis on balance: grandeur with intimacy, tradition with modernity, and elegance with ease.
“There’s an innate honesty in the way this home unfolds… every decision was about balance,” – Anmol Bawa Guliani, Oolenna Studio
