Unirec Secures Rs 1.5 Crore Funding to Boost Sustainable Fashion Revolution

In a game-changing move, Unirec, a trailblazer in sustainable fashion, has clinched a significant Rs 1.5 crore funding from Beyond Seed. This funding marks a pivotal moment for Unirec’s mission to redefine the apparel industry through eco-conscious practices.

Kapil Bhatia, the visionary CEO and Founder of Unirec, expressed excitement about this funding round, stating, “This capital infusion propels us toward our immediate goal of manufacturing and selling 25,000 garments per month. Our aim is to sustain the positive environmental strides we’ve made over the past 18 months on a monthly basis.”

Highlighting their commitment to sustainability, Bhatia added, “During the last year and a half, we’ve repurposed around 40,000 garments by utilizing recycled PET bottles, contributing significantly to our eco-friendly initiatives.”

Unirec, established in 2021, operates through its direct-to-consumer online platform and collaborates with prominent multi-brand online retailers such as Flipkart and Amazon, aiming to broaden its audience reach while maintaining its eco-friendly ethos.

This funding milestone not only fuels Unirec’s growth but also underlines their dedication to making sustainable fashion accessible and impactful, setting a remarkable precedent in the realm of eco-conscious clothing.
