Global apparel retailer UNIQLO has announced the launch of two new stores in India, set to open at Phoenix Market City, Pune on 15 May, and Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore on 5 June. This expansion aims to bring the brand’s LifeWear concept to a wider customer base across key metropolitan cities.
Driven by increasing customer appreciation for high-quality and functional apparel, these upcoming stores form part of UNIQLO’s broader growth strategy in India. The brand continues to focus on delivering its LifeWear philosophy—clothing designed to enhance everyday life—to more consumers nationwide.
“The response from our customers in India has been incredibly encouraging, especially in cities like Pune and Bengaluru where there is a growing demand for simple, high-quality everyday clothing,” said Kenji Inoue, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer, UNIQLO India. “With these new stores, we look forward to reaching even more customers and continuing to bring LifeWear to people across India.”
Both stores, located in Phoenix Market City Pune and Phoenix Marketcity Bangalore, will span approximately 21,000 sq. ft. each. They will showcase UNIQLO’s complete LifeWear collection for men, women, and children. Designed to offer a seamless and immersive shopping experience, the stores will feature contemporary layouts along with the brand’s distinctive visual identity.
Additional details regarding the store launches, including opening celebrations, exclusive offers, and other announcements, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
