TrusTrace Launches New Platform to Turn Supply Chain Data into Insight and Action
TrusTrace, a global provider of supply chain traceability and compliance solutions, has launched a new platform designed to help brands turn complex supply chain data into actionable intelligence and automated operations.
The platform builds on TrusTrace’s existing traceability and compliance infrastructure, making supply chain data more accessible for analysis and decision-making while automating multi-step programmes. The system is designed to help teams identify issues faster and automate activities including assessments, evidence collection, follow-ups and corrective actions.
At its foundation is TrusTrace’s real-time, lot-level forward traceability combined with AI-powered backward chain-of-custody data across materials and sourcing models.
“Every regulation ultimately asks the same question: can you prove it? But proving compliance starts much earlier, with understanding your supply chain, knowing where the gaps are and acting before they become problems,” said Shameek Ghosh, CEO and Co-Founder of TrusTrace.
Supply Chain Intelligence
The platform is rolling out in phases, beginning with Supply Chain Intelligence.
Brands can use natural-language queries to analyse information across suppliers, facilities, products, materials and supply chain relationships. The system can surface gaps and patterns while generating insights and reports based on the organisation’s own data.
Future phases are expected to introduce regulatory intelligence and enterprise intelligence, connecting external regulatory requirements and internal policies with supply chain data. This will enable brands to identify relevant requirements, detect gaps earlier and take action before they develop into compliance failures.
Automated Compliance Operations
Alongside Supply Chain Intelligence, TrusTrace is introducing a programme builder and orchestrator to automate workflows associated with Supplier Compliance.
The system can support processes including vendor onboarding, continuous supplier monitoring, assessments, evidence requests, follow-ups and corrective actions.
By automating these repetitive activities, brands can manage compliance programmes across larger supplier networks without increasing manual workloads at the same rate.
Three Connected Solution Areas
Supply Chain Intelligence forms one of three connected solution areas within the TrusTrace platform:
- Supplier Compliance: Helps brands manage whether suppliers meet defined requirements.
- Supply Chain Intelligence: Enables brands to understand their supply chains, identify areas requiring attention and make data-informed decisions.
- Product Compliance: Determines whether specific products meet applicable requirements and provides supporting evidence.
The latest launch introduces Supply Chain Intelligence while adding automation capabilities designed to connect these three areas through a shared data foundation.
“We have spent years helping brands build trusted supply chain data. Now we are making that data work harder, turning it into intelligence, decisions, and action,” said Ghosh. “The goal is to help brands scale increasingly complex compliance programmes without scaling their teams at the same rate, so they can spend more time on the decisions that matter.”
Four Pillars of the Platform
TrusTrace has structured the new platform around four core pillars:
One unified data foundation: Suppliers can submit information once, in different formats and languages. TrusTrace extracts, validates and connects the information into a unified data foundation that can be reused across multiple applications.
Supply Chain Intelligence: Brands can query their supply chain data and receive live insights and reports. Regulatory, enterprise and risk intelligence will add further context as the platform develops.
Automated operations: The programme builder and orchestrator automate multi-step workflows, including supplier onboarding, monitoring, assessments, evidence requests and corrective actions.
One connected compliance platform: Supplier requirements, regulatory obligations and product compliance are brought together using the same supply chain data and evidence foundation, reducing duplication for brands and suppliers.
AI Across the Platform
AI is integrated throughout the platform, supporting data extraction and validation, natural-language access to supply chain information and automation of multi-step programmes.
The objective is to reduce manual processes for brands and suppliers while enabling teams to act on insights generated from their own supply chain data.
TrusTrace says a new programme can go live in as little as three days, with the first supplier data request potentially sent during the first week.
The company’s existing data foundation covers more than 120,000 suppliers across more than 80 countries.
The platform is designed for organisations ranging from global enterprises to mid-sized brands developing compliance programmes with lean teams, with additional intelligence and automation capabilities expected as the rollout continues.
