Renowned fashion designer Tory Burch has joined forces with creative visionary Humberto Leon to launch a unique concept store on Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles. Situated at 8483 Melrose Avenue, the store seamlessly blends Burch’s signature designs with the captivating animal portraits of German photographer Walter Schels, taking center stage in Burch’s Resort 2024 collection.

Walter Schels’s photographs, capturing animals with a human-like connection, serve as the heart of this collaboration. Leon, a former visual merchandiser turned creative force, infused an art exhibition spirit into the boutique. The outer walls feature Schels’s mouse portrait, while an expressive cat mid-meow graces the interior space.

The concept store is set to debut the initial offerings from Burch’s Spring 2024 collection, featuring standout pieces like the Hoop dress, goddess dress, and Pierced wedge. A special Melrose capsule collection, a collaboration between Burch and Leon, includes T-shirts, sweatshirts, and totes adorned with abstract Schels portraits of a cat and bunny.

This artistic boutique is a temporary venture, open until the end of the year, while the main Tory Burch flagship on Rodeo Drive undergoes renovations. The collaboration between Tory Burch and Humberto Leon not only brings forth a distinctive shopping experience but also celebrates the fusion of fashion and art in a captivating manner.
