Swiss watchmaker Tissot has introduced the Desir Moonphase, a new timepiece that draws inspiration from the moon’s natural rhythm and reinterprets the traditional moonphase complication through a contemporary watchmaking aesthetic.

At the centre of the watch is a rotating disc featuring two opposing moons that move gradually through the aperture to represent the changing phases of the lunar cycle. The mechanism advances every 24 hours and reflects the average 29.5-day lunar cycle, adding both technical precision and visual intrigue to the timepiece.
