Artificial intelligence is being used by Tira, a cosmetics retail company owned by Reliance Industries Limited, to increase in-store interaction and sales. To keep one step ahead of its rivals, the company intends to keep releasing new technological innovations.
According to ETRetail, one of Tira’s latest technological innovations for its physical stores is an AI-powered “fragrance finder” that automatically recommends appropriate perfumes for customers based on their chosen preferences. Additionally, Tira has released a tool called “skin analyser,” which makes product recommendations for customers based on the skin issues that its AI system.
“What we’ve done so far is bring in these great tech aspects,” Tejas Kapadia, head of marketing at Tira, said in an interview with Bloomberg. It goes without saying that some other players are now seeing them as well. Thus, we must keep pushing the envelope.
According to Kapadia, Tira intends to keep developing new technologies to enhance the shopping experience. Without providing specific figures, the company stated that average bill value and sales productivity for the December financial quarter were both very good.
