Mumbai, 18th November, 2024 – The fifth Skechers Walkathon was successfully concluded at the Inorbit Mall in Malad by Skechers, The Comfort Technology Company®. Thousands of fitness enthusiasts came together for this year’s Walkathon, which went one step further in supporting sports development by giving a portion of registration fees to the GoSports Foundation. Skechers’ dedication to helping the upcoming generation of Indian athletes is demonstrated by this program.
Bollywood actress Ananya Panday and Indian football legend Sunil Chhetri attended the event alongside well-known influencers Veejay Mendonca and Viraj Ghelani and Karan Sonwane, who motivated attendees with their dedication to community service and fitness.

Following the tradition of previous editions, the Walkathon offered three categories tailored to different fitness levels. The 10 km-timed walk provided a challenge for seasoned walkers, the 5 km-timed walk was ideal for people aspiring to take up walking as a sport, and the 3 km fun walk offered a family-friendly experience, making it a hit with participants of all ages. The scenic route around Malad’s Inorbit Mall enhanced the event with a variety of entertainment zones. Since its inception, the Skechers Walkathon has engaged a growing community of fitness enthusiasts, solidifying its position as a landmark event for fitness and community connection in India.
