On Wednesday, when Lyst revealed its most recent Index for the second quarter, a new name rose to the top of the list as the world’s most in-demand brand. So from April through June, what record label was the most popular worldwide? Go ahead, Loewe. The LVMH-owned brand outperformed Gucci, Prada, and Balenciaga, which are more accustomed to holding the top rank.

This quarter, searches increased by 19% thanks to a piece of work by Jonathan Anderson’s team that, according to Lyst, “captured the imagination of different cohorts of customers, driving brand heat that’s supported by surging demand and sales for hero products online.”

Interestingly, Anderson’s namesake JW Anderson label rounded out the top 20, maintaining the number 20 position at which it first reached the top 20 in Q1. The designer also topped the list via Loewe.

Versace rose five spots to take third place, followed by Miu Miu down two spots in fourth, Bottega Veneta up one at number five, Valentino down two, Saint Laurent up three, Moncler down five, Gucci static at number nine, and Dior up one to take tenth place. Prada fell one spot out of the top 10.
