With the release of an exclusive capsule collection, British brand Orlebar Brown is paying tribute to the increasingly well-liked 1983 spy film Octopussy, the thirteenth installment in the James Bond series.
The elegance, attire, colours, and of course the octopus in Octopussy, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, served as inspiration for the capsule as part of a continuing partnership with James Bond.
The collection, in particular, includes a linen suit, printed towelling shirts, and swim shorts and shirts with the trademark octopus artwork.
Prior to now, Orlebar Brown debuted a limited-edition line of swimwear with a James Bond theme. A second 007 collection featuring shoes, shirts, and jackets inspired by James Bond’s most fashionable moments followed.
The company was started by photographer Adam Brown in London in 2007 and was purchased by Chanel five years ago for an unknown sum. There are 47 of them spread out over the globe, including ones in Europe, Dubai, Australia, and London. Three locations are located in New York, five are located in Florida, and further stores are anticipated to open in California.
