A new two-year cycle will begin in January of the following year with DOMOTEX: starting in 2025, the Carpets & Rugs Edition will serve as the primary gathering place for the carpet industry at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds in all odd-numbered years. Like all even years, 2026 will see the return of DOMOTEX, which will unite the global floor coverings sector under one roof.

Hannover, Germany. From January 16–19, 2025, in the Hannover Exhibition Grounds, exhibitors from all around the world will be showcasing their ideas under the keynote topic ‘True Connections. Excellence in Design’. The demands of the industry were our primary emphasis, as Sonia Wedell-Castellano, Global Director of DOMOTEX Events worldwide, puts it. We have worked closely with the market and our top exhibitors to devise a plan that would make The Carpets & Rugs Edition as efficient and small as possible. In order to achieve this, we have modified our supporting program and organized fresh networking and special format possibilities. Our goal is to give each and every participant a targeted and fruitful show from which they may get the most out of it.”

The product line will provide a wide selection of contemporary machine weavings as well as high-quality knotted products in contemporary styles, perfect for collectors of antiques and timeless handmade classics.

The Carpets & Rugs Edition features unique designs and inspiring live talks

Visitors can anticipate interesting live discussions and distinctive designs in Hall 2, which will make their stay worthwhile. The Carpet Design Awards (CDA) commemorate their 20th anniversary in January. The fascinating “DOMOTEX on Stage” will be located in the CDA area. With speakers from the fields of production, retail, and interior architecture and design, the conference program provides a comprehensive understanding of the difficulties facing the sector going forward.

Visitors may discover sustainable products and experience interior trends of the future in one convenient location at the new ‘Trend Café’ located in Hall 3. Throughout the fair, the unique display—which features a combined coffee bar and lounge area—is the perfect spot to catch up with old and new business acquaintances to talk about the most recent advancements in the sector.
