Kriti Sanon is getting ready for the release of her much-anticipated movie Adipurush. The Ramayana-themed film stars Prabhas in the lead role. In advance of the movie’s release, the actress made a bold fashion statement at a promotional event. Kriti arrived in a royal ethnic ensemble and a rather unusual shawl.
Sukriti and Aakriti created the beige ensemble that the actress wore to the event. An intensely weaved line enhanced the erupted anarkali set. On the other hand, the real draw of her appearance was the shawl she wore to match her ethnic attire. She wore a custom-made shawl inspired by Ayodhya legends that was made by Delhi-based Shaza. Four Ramayan scenes—Panchavati, Swayamvar, Ashok Vatika, and Ram Darbar—have been depicted using kalamkari and embroidery.
The artist was able to make such precise drawings by carefully observing books and other sources. Every glance reveals a minute detail that has been assembled with great care. The designer recreated the paintings’ palaces, clothing, vegetation, birds, and animals. Kriti completed her look with a braid with a bejewelled accessory, heavy stud earrings, ornate kada bangles, and a choker neckpiece. Shawls come in a wide range of textures and patterns, offering endless possibilities to elevate your fashion
game. Opt for a shawl with intricate embroidery, lace details, or jacquard patterns to add visual interest and texture to your outfit.
Use as a statement piece: Make your shawl the focal point of your outfit by choosing a bold and eye-catching design. Opt for vibrant colors, unique prints, or oversized shawls that demand attention. Pair it with a simple and understated outfit to let the shawl shine.
Layering and accessorizing: Shawls are perfect for layering and adding dimension to your ensemble. Wear a shawl over a jacket or coat during cooler months for added warmth and style. You can also accessorize with brooches or belts to secure the shawl in place and create a polished and put-together look.
