Tokyo, Japan – “The primary theme of the 62nd Miss International Beauty Pageant, scheduled for November 12, 2024, in Tokyo Dome City Hall, is “Sustainability in Pageantry. “This is consistent with the pageant’s post-pandemic advocacy campaign, “Beauties for SDGs,” which got underway in 2022.

On October 29, more than 70 participants from around the globe will begin traveling to Japan, where they will participate in a range of social, cultural, and educational events.Additionally, the delegates will be split up into groups that will visit Kamakura, Fukushima, Niigata, Atami, and Kaga City.

The National Costume Show on November 3 and the Preliminary Evaluation on November 10 at the Professional University of Beauty & Wellbeing in Tokyo City are two more noteworthy events this year.On November 12th, the last night, there will be a final question and answer session, the national costume and evening gown parade, and the return of the onstage swimsuit competition.

“Sustainability in Pageantry” highlights how important it is for national organizations to have a strong sense of self-worth and independence. In this regard, ICA promotes a fair and long-lasting licensing strategy that honors the diligence of the present license holders.Additionally, ICA promises to communicate the goals and requirements of the Miss International Beauty Pageant with greater transparency.

But “Sustainability in Pageantry” goes beyond the money component and considers the long-term implications on each participant’s mental health as well.Miss International thus promises to give all delegates a safe and secure platform free from the grip of social media, where they may engage in healthy activities that could improve their future employment possibilities.

The 62nd Miss International pageant is expected to highlight the traditional elements of beauty pageants through a fun and healthy competition. It also aims to foster true sisterhood among the delegates, advance cross-cultural and international understanding, and raise awareness of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

The Divine Group Foundation, founded by Mr. Deepak Agarwal, expressed support for the effort, saying, “We are inspired by Miss International’s focus on sustainability and mental well-being.” These principles greatly align with our own goals for Indian pageantry. We urge Indian viewers to support this important cause and appreciate beauty that serves a purpose.”
