GrowthRing & Supply has returned with the most recent iteration of its “Project Rising”, following a partnership with WMT Watches for its Faded Dragon Dial release. To investigate the aesthetics of classic Hong Kong tattoos, the GRS brand has this time partnered with tattoo artist Marcus Yuen from 59tattoo. Marcus Yuen is a well-known tattoo artist with years of experience. He developed his own style by fusing traditional tattoo techniques from Hong Kong with American tattooing techniques, creating a style which is distinctively ‘Hong Kong’ .
The Dragon In Clouds Overprint Shirt and the Dragon Phoenix Overprint Shirt constitute a part of the 59tattoo x GrowthRing & Supply capsule collection. The photo overprint shirts are specifically made, usingremium printing methods for stunning graphic displays. Initiating a partnership, 59tattoo and GrowthRing & Supply plan to keep showcasing the special appeal of Hong Kong’s tattoo culture to spark interest in the city’s creativity and culture.
Pre-orders for the Dragon In Clouds Overprint Shirt and Dragon Phoenix Overprint Shirt, both limited to just 100 pieces of each style, are now open on Growth Ring & Supply’s website, with shipping scheduled for some point near the end of July.
