Women-first sexual wellness brand That Sassy Thing has secured ₹6 crore in seed funding, led by Inflection Point Ventures (IPV), along with support from investors like Bala Sarda (Vahdam Teas), Saurabh Munjal (Lahori Zeera), and Kirti Jangra (Animall Technologies). Chandigarh Angels Network (CAN) also participated in the round.

Founded in 2021 by Sachee Malhotra and Himanshu Bhalla, the brand offers pleasure-positive intimate care products such as lubricants, full-body massagers, and intimate washes—designed to be safe, discreet, and stigma-free. The duo brings over 20 years of experience in D2C and creative brand-building.

Beyond products, That Sassy Thing pioneers free online sex-ed masterclasses, making them a unique force in the Indian wellness space. Their masterclass on healing from sexual trauma even received the UN Laadli Media & Advertising Award for Gender Sensitivity in 2024.

With 200% YoY growth and over 50,000 customers served, the brand retails through its website, q-commerce platforms like Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and now select cafés in Delhi NCR—marking rising cultural acceptance.

The funds will fuel expansion into new products, content, and distribution channels, as the brand positions itself as India’s leading voice in gender-inclusive, body-positive wellness.
