Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris to Celebrate 30th Anniversary in January 2027
The 25–27 January event will welcome more than 1,000 exhibitors, introduce a redesigned layout across two halls and highlight sourcing opportunities for the global textile and apparel industry.
Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris will celebrate its 30th anniversary from 25 to 27 January 2027 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre. The event will bring together international fabric manufacturers and garment makers to explore sourcing opportunities and future collection developments.
For this special edition, the trade show will introduce a redesigned exhibition layout across Halls 3 and 4. The new format aims to strengthen connections between fabric suppliers and finished-product manufacturers while making it easier for visitors to navigate the exhibition.
Redesigned Layout to Improve Sourcing and Networking
The new layout will bring together the event’s two main areas: Apparel Sourcing, dedicated to finished products and accessories, and Texworld, focused on fabrics and raw materials.
The streamlined configuration will help visitors identify different product sectors and move more easily between exhibition areas. Networking spaces, presentations, talks, trend showcases, services and catering facilities will be distributed across both halls.
This arrangement aims to encourage visitors to explore the exhibition spaces and create more opportunities for business exchanges.
More Than 1,000 Exhibitors Expected
More than 1,000 international exhibitors are expected at the January 2027 edition. The event will maintain a balance between fabrics and raw materials and finished products, catering to different purchasing strategies and sourcing requirements.
The European Union-India Free Trade Agreement (FTA), signed in January 2026, is also expected to create new opportunities for textile and apparel trade. Currently undergoing ratification, the agreement is expected to come into force in 2027.
It provides for the removal of European customs duties on Indian textiles and garments, which currently reach up to 12%, depending on the product. This development is expected to further strengthen European market interest among manufacturers in South Asia, particularly India.
Spring-Summer 2028 Trends and Industry Discussions
The January edition will feature trend forums for Spring-Summer 2028 collections in both exhibition halls.
Designed by the event’s artistic directors, Louis Gérin and Gregory Lamaud, these spaces will offer creative insights aligned with the product categories showcased in each hall. They will also help buyers identify relevant materials and products for their sourcing needs.
In Hall 4, the Texpertise Agora will host conferences, debates and round-table discussions. Industry professionals and experts will explore key developments shaping the textile and apparel sectors.
Sustainability and Traceability in Focus
Sustainability and traceability will remain important themes throughout the exhibition. Through Texpertise Econogy, Messe Frankfurt will offer several initiatives to help visitors connect with companies working on sustainable solutions.
These initiatives include:
- Econogy Finder: Helps visitors identify suppliers offering sustainably produced textiles.
- Econogy Talks: Brings together experts and industry professionals to discuss sustainability and sector developments at the Texpertise Agora.
- Econogy Tour: Offers guided visits to selected manufacturers showcasing sustainable solutions.
The Small Quantities Itinerary will also help brands and designers identify manufacturers offering production solutions for smaller batches. It will cover both textile and garment manufacturing, supporting businesses working on smaller-scale development projects.
Initiatives Areas to Showcase Global Textile Expertise
Visitors will find two Initiatives areas at the entrance of each exhibition hall. These spaces will highlight collective projects and expertise from companies, educational institutions and countries.
The showcases will offer visitors an insight into the diversity of textile identities, manufacturing capabilities and international skills represented at the event.
With its redesigned layout, sourcing programmes and focus on industry developments, the 30th-anniversary edition of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris aims to strengthen connections across the international textile and apparel supply chain.
