AMI has announced the launch of the Textiles Manufacturing Expo, a new exhibition and conference for the textile, fibre and yarn manufacturing industry. The event will focus on technologies, machinery, materials and solutions shaping modern textile production.
The inaugural event will take place on 7-8 April 2027 at the Charlotte Convention Center, North Carolina. It will be held alongside the established Textiles Recycling Expo USA.
New Expo to Connect Textile Value Chain
The new event will bring together stakeholders from across the textile lifecycle. It will connect textile manufacturing with recycling and recovery.
The launch follows the success of AMI’s textile recycling events in Brussels and Charlotte. In April 2026, the inaugural Textiles Recycling Expo USA attracted 1,858 visitors, 95 exhibitors and 52 expert speakers over two days.
As a result, AMI is now expanding its platform to include textile manufacturing. The event will bring together textile manufacturers, technology providers, material suppliers, brands, designers, recyclers and other value-chain stakeholders.
Key Areas Covered at the Expo
The Textiles Manufacturing Expo will feature exhibitors across several areas. These will include:
- Textile manufacturing, finishing and printing machinery and equipment
- Fibre and yarn suppliers
- Dyes, chemicals and finishing solutions
- Testing, inspection and quality assurance
- Automation, AI and smart manufacturing

Conference to Focus on Textile Manufacturing
Alongside the exhibition, the event will feature a dedicated conference theatre.
The programme will include keynote presentations, technical sessions and industry case studies. These sessions will focus on manufacturing technologies and emerging applications.
According to Chrissy Winegarden, AMI Exhibition Sales Manager, the event will give raw material and production technology suppliers a platform to engage directly with textile manufacturers. It will also help them explore innovations that can advance the industry.
