Texhibition Istanbul once again brought together the global textile industry at the Istanbul Expo Center, reinforcing its role as a major international sourcing platform. Organised by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. in cooperation with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB), the event featured more than 500 exhibitors across five halls covering 42,850 sqm.
The fair welcomed 19,325 trade visitors, including 5,565 international visitors from more than 95 countries, representing Europe, Asia, the Middle East, North Africa and North America. The strong international presence confirmed Texhibition’s growing role as a key meeting point for textile sourcing, innovation and business networking.
A Global Platform for the Textile Value Chain
Texhibition Istanbul showcased the entire textile value chain, from fibres and yarns to fabrics, accessories and advanced textile technologies. The exhibitor profile included:
-
336 exhibitors presenting woven and knitted fabrics
-
12 exhibitors specialising in yarns
-
50 exhibitors showcasing accessories
-
47 exhibitors in textile printing technologies
-
18 exhibitors in embroidery
-
22 exhibitors presenting denim innovations
The diversity of exhibitors reflected Türkiye’s integrated textile production ecosystem, which enables companies to manage the entire process from raw materials to finished textiles within the country.
Türkiye’s Integrated Textile Strength
The exhibition highlighted Türkiye’s position as one of the world’s leading textile producers. The country’s textile and apparel sector generates an annual production value of around USD 78 billion, including USD 45 billion in textiles and USD 33 billion in apparel.
A key advantage is the sector’s fully integrated production structure, covering cotton, wool and synthetic fibres, yarn production, fabric manufacturing, finishing processes, logistics and packaging. This vertical integration allows companies to achieve faster development cycles, flexible production volumes and rapid delivery to international markets.
“Texhibition Istanbul demonstrates year after year how strong and flexible the Turkish textile industry is. Especially in times of global uncertainty – particularly in light of developments in the Middle East – international brands are looking for reliable partners with fast supply chains and high quality – and this is where Türkiye offers significant advantages. The fair has become an important meeting point where markets, ideas and partnerships come together.”
Fatih Bilici, Vice President of İTHİB and Chairman of the Texhibition Fair Committee
International Buyers and Business Opportunities
The fair served as an important networking platform for international buyers and brands seeking new suppliers, materials and textile innovations. Through curated B2B meetings, global buyers connected directly with Turkish manufacturers to explore new sourcing opportunities and develop future collections.
Participating buyers and brands included Hugo Boss, Puma, Nike, Coach, Michael Kors, Stone Island, Alexander Wang, Proenza Schouler and Burton, among many others.
Visitors from countries such as Italy, Germany, Spain, the United States, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia and Tunisia were among those attending the event, reflecting Texhibition’s global reach.
Despite ongoing geopolitical and economic challenges, the decline in international visitors remained limited to only five percent, demonstrating the fair’s strong position within the global textile industry.
Blue Black Denim Highlights Innovation
The Blue Black Denim section was once again one of the key attractions of the exhibition, highlighting the strength of Türkiye’s denim sector. The area presented innovative developments in sustainable denim production, advanced dyeing technologies and experimental fabric structures.
Leading manufacturers including Atlas Denim, Bossa, ISKO, İSKUR and Kipaş showcased their latest innovations, combining traditional expertise with new technologies and sustainability-focused processes.
Interactive installations, curated presentations, workshops and expert talks demonstrated how denim continues to evolve through innovative materials, sustainable washing processes and creative design approaches.

By transforming surplus fabrics into sourcing opportunities, the concept highlighted the potential of circular economy strategies within the textile industry.
