Texhibition Istanbul 2025, held from September 10–12 at the Istanbul Expo Center, closed with strong visitor growth and renewed industry confidence. Organized by İTKİB Fuarcılık A.Ş. in collaboration with the Istanbul Textile Exporters Association (İTHİB), the fair featured 524 exhibitors across five halls, showcasing fabrics, denim, lace, embroidery, printing, accessories, and yarn.
The event welcomed 24,148 visitors (+6.7% vs. March 2025), including 7,021 international visitors (+16.9%) from Europe, the Middle East, Asia, North Africa, North America, and beyond. Packed aisles, dynamic B2B meetings, and an inspiring seminar program highlighted the fair’s role as a leading global sourcing hub.
Blue Black Denim Texhibition was a standout, bringing together 24 denim brands such as Bossa, İskur, Isko, Kipaş, and Orta to present sustainable innovations, trend insights, and interactive workshops. As the world’s 3rd-largest denim garment producer, Türkiye reinforced its position as a denim powerhouse.
The fair also featured around 100 exclusive B2B sessions with global buyers, including representatives from Asos, Burberry, Guess, Patagonia, Revolve, Hugo Boss, and many more. Exhibitors praised the diversity of international markets and reported strong business leads.
In addition to trade, Texhibition positioned itself as a knowledge and innovation platform. The Innovation Hub unveiled cutting-edge materials like Colourself Cotton, Biodegradable Pleats, and Vegan Bioglitter. The Trends Lab, curated by Istanbul Moda Academy, explored AW26-27 directions through themes such as Mindscape, Beatroots, Soul-utions, and Royal Hippie. Meanwhile, the ReValue Stock Hub promoted circularity by turning surplus fabrics into new design opportunities.
The seminar program, enriched by WGSN insights, AI applications, biomaterials, and the debut of Zoom on Fashion Trends, underscored Texhibition’s role in shaping the future of textiles. Dedicated denim sessions further strengthened its creative and industry relevance.
Highlighting Türkiye’s strength as the world’s 5th-largest textile exporter, Texhibition 2025 confirmed the country’s role as a fast, flexible, and sustainable sourcing hub for the global fashion and apparel industry.
Fatih Bilici, Vice President of İTHİB and Chairman of the Fair Committee, said: “Texhibition Istanbul has strengthened its place in the global calendar by increasing international interest every year. It showcases the production power, sustainability vision, and innovative approach of the Turkish textile industry on the world stage.”
Ahmet Öksüz, President of İTHİB, concluded: “Texhibition once again demonstrated the innovative strength and global competitiveness of the Turkish textile industry. With its international reach and sustainable focus, it has established itself as a key meeting point for the global market.”
