TCI Holds Nationwide Blood Donation Drive
Transport Corporation of India (TCI), an integrated logistics and supply chain solutions provider, organised a nationwide blood donation drive in memory of its Founder, Shri Prabhu Dayal Agarwal Ji (Shri PD Ji).
The seven-day campaign ran from 14th to 20th September 2026. It brought together 1,734 employees and associates across more than 68 locations in India.
The participants included 1,641 men and 93 women. Blood donation camps took place in cities including Kolkata, Gurugram, Rajkot, Delhi, Chandigarh, Pune, Aurangabad, Kolhapur, Ludhiana, Noida, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Prayagraj, Patna, Varanasi, Mumbai, Haridwar and Ahmedabad, among others.
Honouring Shri Prabhu Dayal Agarwal’s Legacy
The initiative commemorates the legacy of Shri Prabhu Dayal Agarwal, who played a significant role in India’s transport and logistics sector.
His contributions extended beyond logistics. He supported initiatives related to social welfare, healthcare, education and women’s empowerment.
His involvement in healthcare initiatives also included associations with the establishment of some of India’s early private blood banks. This reflected his focus on community support and social welfare.

TCI’s annual blood donation drive continues this legacy by bringing employees and business associates together for a healthcare-related cause.
The initiative provides participants with an opportunity to support patients and healthcare institutions. At the same time, it encourages employees and associates to take an active role in the communities where TCI operates.
Through programmes such as the nationwide blood donation drive, TCI continues to honour the values associated with its Founder. The company also aims to create more opportunities for its people to contribute to society through community-focused initiatives.
