With counterfeiting posing risks to brand integrity, consumer safety, and economic growth, the need for robust anti-counterfeiting measures is more critical than ever. Addressing this pressing issue, the Authentication Solution Providers’ Association (ASPA) is hosting the 6th Traceability and Authentication Forum (TAF) 2025 on March 17-18 in New Delhi. The event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, and tech experts to explore cutting-edge authentication technologies that enhance traceability and secure supply chains.
Manoj Kochar, President of ASPA, stressed the importance of multi-layered authentication solutions in combating counterfeit threats. He highlighted technologies like AI, Blockchain, IoT, holograms, tamper-evident labels, RFID tracking, covert markers, and smartphone verification tools as key innovations reshaping the fight against counterfeiting.
According to the ASPA & CRISIL report, one in four Indian consumers has unknowingly bought counterfeit products. Strengthening supply chain controls with phygital anti-counterfeiting solutions—a blend of physical and digital technologies—can significantly curb this challenge.
TAF 2025 will serve as a collaborative platform for discussing government policies, consumer awareness campaigns, and global standards that bolster brand protection. The event aims to accelerate innovation, share insights, and empower businesses to build a more secure, transparent supply chain ecosystem.
