TMAS, a Swedish textile machinery association, joins ITMF as an Associate Member, further strengthening the international forum for textile manufacturing.

ITMF members represent 90% of global textile and apparel production. The Annual conference in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, is a key event for the Federation. The success of the 2023 Conference in Keqiao, China, highlights the importance of these gatherings in advancing the global textile and apparel industry.

TMAS members offer a wide range of expertise in textile technology, including systems for yarn fault detection, tension monitoring, weaving, sewing, cutting, embroidery, material handling, fabric finishing, and more. They share a global perspective similar to leading Swedish companies in the industry.

ITMF is pleased to announce TMAS as its newest member, enhancing its role as a global platform for the textile industry. Director General Christian Schindler emphasizes the benefits of collaborating with advanced machinery providers for textile manufacturers. This partnership will enable members to access the latest technologies and solutions, staying competitive in a rapidly evolving business landscape.

Active collaboration in the textile industry’s supply chain is crucial for achieving sustainable goals, according to TMAS Secretary General Therese Premier-Andersson. By joining the ITMF, TMAS members gain access to valuable statistics, publications, and surveys that provide insights into the global dynamics of the textile value chain. ITMF conferences and workshops also offer opportunities for networking and collaboration with industry counterparts worldwide. This information and network support help in analyzing trends and developing successful strategies.
