Sverve is transforming India’s luxury prêt landscape with its meticulously curated fashion approach. Founded by Gayatri Reddy Bhatia and Shikha Kajaria on May 27, 2022, the idea stemmed from a shared realization that India lacked a premium, homegrown western wear marketplace that balanced exclusivity with accessibility. Their vision was to unite top Indian and South Asian designers while ensuring competitive pricing and fast delivery.

The brand launched with Pernia Qureshi, India’s luxury e-commerce pioneer, championing the “luxe for less” concept, making designer fashion more attainable. In 2024, Sonaal Munjal joined as a partner, driving Sverve’s expansion, while Garima Kochhar, Creative Director, steers its curation and aesthetic, distinguishing it in a competitive market.

Sverve started with 10 designers and now features 170 carefully selected brands. Unlike mass-market platforms, Sverve prioritizes quality over quantity, ensuring that each piece aligns with its distinct aesthetic. The platform also champions size inclusivity, catering to professionals, socialites, and fashion enthusiasts alike, offering everything from power-dressing co-ords to effortless dresses and statement shirts.

Sverve has established exclusive partnerships, including the first-ever prêt collection by Jayanti Reddy, available only on its platform. While upcoming collections remain under wraps, the brand’s Spring/Summer edit promises fresh designs and potential exclusive launches, elevating the luxury prêt segment.

Though operating as a marketplace, sustainability is integral to Sverve. The brand emphasizes eco-friendly packaging and features sustainable labels like Origani, Khara Kapas, Ahmev, and MATI, ensuring that fashion aligns with responsibility.

Beyond fashion, Sverve delivers personalized styling services, offering tailored wardrobe recommendations based on individual preferences and lifestyles—mirroring global luxury standards.

With prices starting at ₹2,000, Sverve competes with Zara and Massimo Dutti, but with a key difference—exclusivity. In a world where mass-market fashion leads to outfit repetition, Sverve ensures a wardrobe that is unique and thoughtfully curated.

Shoppers can explore Sverve at www.thesverve.com and through its exclusive pop-ups and exhibitions, offering a high-touch retail experience.

Co-founder Shikha Kajaria states, “In a crowded market, brands need more than just a store—they need engaging experiences. Sverve bridges the gap between innovation, commerce, and user-centricity, turning challenges into opportunities.”

Creative Director Garima Kochhar adds, “Our goal is to build a fashion community transitioning from inclusivity to exclusivity, driven by a curated and personalized shopping experience that ensures every rupee is well spent.”

For women who seek effortless luxury and fashion that truly resonates, Sverve is shaping the future of curated prêt in India.
