NEW YORK, NY, MAY 6, 2024 – Coach today announces that actor and producer Storm Reid is wearing a custom Coach by Creative Director Stuart Vevers to the 2024 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday evening.

Reid’s look explores a vintage-inspired corset top and skirt with playfully amplified volume, paired with a repurposed moto jacket crafted with vintage garments. The skirt is crafted with pale pistachio silk taffeta and over one hundred yards of silk tulle and gazar and finished with die-cut silk taffeta flowers with hand-applied crystal detailing. The corset is crafted with cotton organdy and delicate matte lacé.

Handcrafted at the Coach workshop in New York City and inspired by Vevers’ vision for Coach of heritage reimagined through the lens of today’s generation, the look juxtaposes American romance with a youthful, counter-culture attitude. Interpreting the Met’s “Garden in Time” theme.
