Italian clothing brand Stone Island has unveiled its ninth collaboration with Supreme, revealing a new capsule for Fall/Winter 2023 that showcases the innovative Nylon Metal fabric. Crafted with ECONYL® regenerated yarns, this fabric replicates the classic qualities of nylon, presenting an iridescent effect and vibrant colors such as orange, turquoise, electric blue, light green, and petrol.
The capsule prominently features Nylon Metal treated with a macro ripstop, defining the collection’s range that includes down bomber jackets, anoraks, and insulated trousers. These pieces, marked with Stone Island’s distinctive arm branding, boast fine feathers resilient to the garment-dyeing process. The dyeing method incorporates a double-color recipe and a PFC-free anti-drop agent for enhanced sustainability.Notable in the collection is the anorak, equipped with PrimaLoft®-TC padding consisting of 70% recycled materials, specially engineered for Stone Island’s garment dyeing. The design includes a hood with adjustable drawstrings and two front pockets at the chest’s center.
