With the Spring Fair just around the corner at the NEC Birmingham (4-7 February), excitement is building as six finalists gear up for the newly introduced Pitch Live event. Organized by Hyve Group, this innovative business platform serves as a launchpad for exhibitors to present their standout products in a Dragon’s Den-style setting.
Among the finalists is Ducky Zebra, focused on crafting sustainable clothing for babies and children, and Vurchoo with their ‘Studs of Hope,’ an evergreen collection of affordable jewelry. Nerik is set to unveil its transformative Garment & Scarf range, while Merry People takes the spotlight with its line of waterproof footwear.
The Pitch Live event, scheduled for Monday (5 February) in Hall 6 at 3 pm, promises an engaging showcase as finalists pitch their innovative products live to a panel of expert judges and a retail audience. The stakes are high, with the winner earning 2 sq m of space for the 2025 event and two one-hour consultancy sessions with Sharon Good, CEO of Good Results PR, covering press relations, mentoring, and hands-on strategic advice.
Adding to the event’s allure, the ‘Inspiring Retail Stage’ will host sessions featuring keynote speakers like celebrity retail entrepreneur Theo Paphitis and ESG pioneer Paul Wright from PDS. The Spring Fair 2024 is shaping up to be a dynamic platform for innovation and industry insights.
