Big Hello, a specialty fashion brand for plus-sized people, has today announced the inauguration of its first retail experience store in Phoenix United Mall, Lucknow, offering stylish and high-quality fashion clothings and accessories for the city’s plus-sized men and women.
The brand’s expansion in North India is also marked with the establishment of the first store in Lucknow. Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Vijayawada, and Guntur are home to 20 Big Hello retail locations.
The brand’s bright and joyful personality is embodied by the lively and vibrant interiors of all Big Hello locations, which are designed as “Experience Stores” and feature distinctive dancing mannequins and great and engaging customer service. Big Hello is the first company in India to offer a special lounge where patrons may relax and browse, improving their in-store experience.
In addition, the brand has an online store and intends to launch additional locations in Hyderabad shortly. Vishnu Prasad launched the rapidly expanding fashion shopping company Absolute Brands and Retail Private Limited (ABRPL), which owns Big Hello.

The specialty fashion brand aims to open 50 new stores this financial year as part of a dedicated national retail expansion strategy. Indian plus-size fashion apparel market, estimated at ₹88,000 crore, has a 12% share in the overall fashion market. Of this, the share of the organised market is estimated at 33%, or about ₹29,000 crore. This market is further projected to grow at a CAGR of 25% over the next five years.
