The UK’s premier international sourcing show, Source Home & Gift 2025, kicked up this morning at NEC Birmingham and will run through Wednesday, February 5. The show, which is held in conjunction with Spring Fair, links top retailers, brands, contractors, interior designers, and international manufacturers from important sourcing regions with those looking for new, ethical suppliers or investigating private label options. A diverse range of buyers eager to experience the variety, fine, and handcrafted products from around the world occupied the show floor.
Suzanne Ellingham, Event Director for Source Home & Gift said “We’re proud to be back with so many incredible manufacturers for our buyers to discover and form partnerships with. We’ve had a busy start to the show with lots of buyers who are looking for high quality, handmade items as well as opportunities for new suppliers and unique product collaborations. A large focus has been on suppliers and manufacturers offering beautifully crafted Christmas products that have been really popular with buyers planning for the festive season of 2025.
Our Ask the Experts section is brand-new as of February 2025. We launched this to assist buyers and businesses in beginning their private label journeys, and the reaction has been amazing. We can’t wait to see what else the program has in store.
Buyers from John Lewis, Morrisons, Joe Browns, Sainsbury’s, House of Marbles, The Essence Vault, Vinegar Hill, The Apple Orchard, Longleat, The Scout Association, Countryside Feeders, and many more prestigious independents visited Source Home & Gift, which had thousands of visitors on its show floor.
Visitors were treated to an exquisite display of rugs, home décor, and textiles on the show floor, all of which were produced ethically by exhibitors including the Carpet Export Promotion Council from India, who made their show debut. Source Home & Gift has been able to introduce the UK market to premium manufacturers and artisan producers by working with governments and organizations around the world.
According to Ledda Galves Impicciatori of the Peruvian artisan business Sumaq Qara, “We will most certainly return for the next show because this has been such an exciting experience.” We are thankful to have made connections with people who genuinely value our work, and the chances here are amazing. Independent retailers and major purchasers, not just from the UK but also from Ireland and Australia, have responded incredibly well to us.”
Maninder Singh, CEO at Craft Asia Exports enthused; “I’ve loved the show so far – the buyers here aren’t just from the UK—they come from all over the world, giving us a fantastic opportunity in the market. We’re committed to attending this show twice a year, every year.”
The mood on the show floor was further bolstered by Sarah Long, UK Sales Director at Solution International who said, “Being here at this event has been great—it’s given us the chance to hear directly from the market, meet amazing new and existing partners, and really see where we fit in this space. If this momentum keeps up, we’ll be back next year with an even bigger stand!”
This year’s exhibitors offer buyers a balance of scale and quality across key product categories, and brings the entire supply chain to buyers, covering homewares, gifts, furniture, textiles, toys, stationery, greetings, and technology. With over 160 exhibitors from more than 12 countries, Source Home & Gift promises a diverse and comprehensive sourcing experience.
