The results of Son of a Pharaoh, the inaugural sale held by Pharrell Williams’ digital-only auction firm JOOPITER, were released on Wednesday. The newly-debuted firm announced total sales of $5.25 million USD after the auction ended on November 1.

After about 94% of the 47 lots were sold, with nearly 66% selling for more than expected, the total rocketed past the sales high projection of about $3.2 million USD. Pharrell’s 18K Blackberry, which was featured in his illustrious freestyle performance on BET, a gilded Sony Playstation PSP, a Louis Vuitton Steamer Trunk in “Black/Multicolor” monogram, and other items were among the personal items on display at the auction.

The Jacob & Co. N.E.R.D. Character Pendant Necklace was among the expensive pieces and sold for an astonishing $2.184 million USD, more than nine times the high estimate for the renowned handmade chain.

Notably, Black Ambition’s efforts to support innovative projects and businesses run by Black and Latinx entrepreneurs will benefit from a share of the proceeds from JOOPITER’s debut event.
