SOLARIC, a top solar energy solutions provider, showcased their work at the 3-day BIID Expo in Dhaka. They are known for producing the world’s largest rooftop solar power plant in KEPZ, CTG.
At the BIID Exhibition & Dialogue in Dhaka, Mr. Farhad Hossain, MP, visited the Solaric Booth. Engr. Naznin Akther, Director of Solaris, along with Mr. Jyoti Shahrier and Foysal Hossen, were present. They received a large number of visitors including industrialists and academicians interested in renewable energy solutions like solar panels. Many visitors from industries like ready-made garments, textile, plastic, ceramic, and steel sectors were particularly looking for quality products and services. The exhibition provided a platform for choosing better options.
Naznin highlighted the potential of the renewable energy sector in Bangladesh due to land scarcity and sustainable solutions. She emphasized the importance of government support and education in textbooks to ensure progress in the sector and the availability of skilled technicians. Her company has completed 21 projects, mainly focusing on rooftop solar solutions in various industrial areas. Currently, less than 5% of industries use renewable energy, indicating a vast scope for increasing adoption. Naznin stressed the need for sustainable growth and development through innovative rooftop solar plant initiatives to drive progress in the renewable energy sector in Bangladesh.
