Snapdeal Launches Diwali Edition of Bharat Swagotsav Following 85% Sales Surge

Snapdeal, the Bharat-focused marketplace for value-conscious shoppers, has launched Phase II of its festive sale, Bharat Swagotsav, running from 6th to 11th October 2025.

After the success of Phase I, which recorded an 85% surge in daily sales volumes and a 100% growth in fashion sales compared to last year, Snapdeal is back with fresh deals, new assortments, and blockbuster offers for Diwali, Karwa Chauth, and Bhai Dooj celebrations.

Festive Collections and Gifting Options

Phase II features occasion-specific collections:

  • Diwali: décor, home essentials, gifting hampers

  • Karwa Chauth: sarees, ethnic wear, pooja thalis, jewellery

  • Bhai Dooj: grooming kits, watches, wallets, festive gift combos

Customers can also unlock 5% unlimited cashback with Bank of Baroda – Snapdeal co-branded credit cards and enjoy cash discounts via BHIM UPI, PhonePe, HDFC Bank, Bajaj Finserv, and Paytm.

Phase II Focuses on Bharat’s Heartland

With over 80% of Phase I sales coming from non-metro cities, Bharat Swagotsav has emerged as a celebration of India’s heartland. Phase II aims to empower sellers while providing customers across Bharat access to stylish, high-quality products at honest prices.

CEO Comment on Festive Launch

Achint Setia, CEO, Snapdeal, said:
“The overwhelming response to Phase I shows that value-driven shopping is at the heart of Bharat’s e-commerce story. With Phase II, we are bringing even more style, savings, and Swadeshi spirit to our customers ahead of Diwali.”

Snapdeal Fashion Show

In a first-of-its-kind initiative, Snapdeal produced an in-house fashion show, with team members modeling apparel from Snapdeal’s expansive fashion assortment. The showcase demonstrated how trendy fashion can seamlessly combine with value pricing.
