Poland Camping Equipment Export Price in June 2023
In June 2023, the camping equipment price amounted to $6,140 per ton (FOB, Poland), waning by -24.1% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a pronounced downturn. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average export price increased by 20% against the previous month. The export price peaked at $9,588 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($13,867 per ton), while the average price for exports to the Netherlands ($1,826 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+6.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.
Poland Camping Equipment Exports
Camping equipment exports from Poland soared to 5.6K tons in June 2023, surging by 44% on the previous month. In general, exports posted a measured expansion. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, camping equipment exports reached $35M (IndexBox estimates) in June 2023. Overall, total exports indicated a modest increase from June 2022 to June 2023: its value increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, exports increased by +99.9% against December 2022 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when exports increased by 31% against the previous month. The exports peaked in June 2023.
Poland Camping Equipment Exports by Country
the Netherlands (2.2K tons), Germany (1.5K tons) and France (331 tons) were the main destinations of camping equipment exports from Poland, with a combined 72% share of total exports.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by the Netherlands (with a CAGR of +27.6%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Germany ($13M) remains the key foreign market for camping equipment exports from Poland, comprising 37% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by the Netherlands ($4M), with a 12% share of total exports. It was followed by the Czech Republic, with a 6.5% share.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the average monthly rate of growth in terms of value to Germany was relatively modest. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average monthly rates of exports growth: the Netherlands (+6.4% per month) and the Czech Republic (-1.9% per month).
